Huber HTS 15 Heat Transfer Station
is a precision temperature-control and liquid-circulation unit used in laboratories and industrial processes.
It is essentially a
pump and plate heat exchanger system
. It takes cooling water from an existing facility water supply or central chiller, transfers that cooling through an internal heat exchanger, and circulates a separate temperature-controlled fluid through the connected equipment. It does
not contain its own refrigeration compressor
, so it needs an outside source of chilled or cooling water.
What it is used for
